The Alphabet

It's a wrap! Pre-K 3 kids have learnt the uppercase letters in the alphabet for 26 weeks. They have done 26 weeks of 'Letter of the Week' activities with 26 different letters craft projects, 78 times tracing letters (plus 30 times tracing numbers) using Wet-Dry-Try app, and 910 times tracing uppercase letters from worksheetfun.com. All of those activities required perseverance, high commitment, and total dedication for kids at their age. I am so proud of you kiddos. Enjoy this video of 26 craft projects done by them featuring 'The Alphabet' song which was sung by them last Friday.

Pre-K Field Day

We were so lucky to have quite a sunny day yesterday to have a field day with Pre-K4 class. Ms. S(adek), Mr. Fiersen, some of the moms, and middle school students were so nice preparing all the activities for us at the soccer field. We ran, jumped, stacked the cups, and did all the fun activities. It was a hot day and yes, ice cream was a good choice to celebrate that fun field day. Thanks everyone for coming and helping out at the field day.

Fun Field Trip to FUN WORLD BSB

It was a fun Thursday! We had our fun field trip to Fun World BSB. Fun... Fun... Fun... Independently, the kids lined up to buy the tickets and gave their 100,000 Rupiah to the cashier. Once they got their tickets, they were too excited not to run to the rides. With some reminders, they managed to line up nicely for every ride. Merry-go-round was chosen to be the first ride, then jet plane, the swing, taxi, mini train, bumper car, and finally canoe. We spent almost 1 hour 15 minutes and tried 7 different rides. The kids was sad when they were told that we had to go back to school. It was a fun way to review our transportation unit.

Character Day

Meet Pre-K 3 Characters...

Lionel Messi

BATMAN

Spiderman

Fireman Chief

Princess Elsa #1

Princess Aurora

The Little Mermaid

Princess Elsa #2

Pretty Fairy

Slurpp... Hmmm...

Cheese...

Who doesn't love dressing up? Little kids, big kids, adults, students, teachers, everyone. It was fun discussing which character they were dressing as and why they love them. Some kids, as usual, don't mind telling all the details about their costumes, but some others will prefer to just discuss the main points. Thank you PRIS Student Council for sponsoring this spirit day and indeed, ice cream for lunch dessert on a very hot day was a very thoughtful choice.
